Rome, Anzio, Tor Caldara
Technical Information

Anzio is located about 60 km south of Rome (an hour and a quarter in bus). This field trip does not require extensive walking or hiking in rugged landscape. Trekking or hiking shoes are recommended. In the southern Latium, middle September has temperatures between 24°C and 20°C and rain is relatively rare, but not totally absent, so a light rain-jacket could be useful. The sea has always a warm temperature (about 24°C): bring a swimsuit since you might have the opportunity to swim!
